More information on the programme can be found here.

Speakers will be announced soon.

The day will be split into five sessions, kicking off with an examination of the practical aspects of arbitration in the region, including local arbitration centres, the role of third-party funders and the effectiveness of IBA and ICC rules in the region.

Following a coffee break, a session entitled How to choose an arbitrator: a masterclass will provide attendees with an insight into the selection process and due diligence aspects of arbitration. Following a networking lunch, there will be a question-time session led by a panel of in-house counsel.

The penultimate panel of the day will investigate damage calculation and the legal principles underpinning the process. In the final session of the day, an Oxford Union-style debate before a panel of three judges will debate the motion Are we moving to an era of too much transparency in international arbitration?
