Panellists agreed at the Latin Lawyer Live 6th Annual Regional Project Finance summit in Washington, DC, on 29 October that alternative finance and more midstream investment is necessary to diversify their countries' energy sources, but incoming governments in the region’s two largest economies may create two very different futures for the sector.
