This month’s news in brief takes a look at Bolivia’s investment in ethanol production, the Colombian government’s sale of a stake in telecoms company Coltel and the decision of Chile’s antitrust agency head to step down. In Brazil, police investigate price-fixing among fuel distributors and the country’s carmaker association reports a drop in car exports, while in Mexico, Aeroméxico faces legal action following its recent plane crash.
